There's going to be a lot of love lost for Texas A&M because they just don't look good at all.

I think it will take at least a win against Arkansas to get us there.

I could end up being wrong. Brett McMurphy ranked us 20th in his poll. Didn't think anyone would have the guts to rank us that high.

But I've also seen a ballot that has James Madison in the Top 25 and us unranked. So who the hell knows.

Agreed that the CFP is the most important, but the AP Poll does matter in the sense that it helps determine TV matchups, how much coverage teams get on recap shows and various online articles, etc.

Exactly. Guess who gets national highlights and conversation on ESPN? Ranked teams. If you are unranked you don't get nearly the coverage.

Need to be ranked in the AP poll because ranked = more coverage and we can never have too much coverage.

Yeah, I like that. Once the the committee poll is released though, AP and coaches conform to it closer and closer down the stretch
