I knew Leach wouldn’t do it because he’s classy but I wanted another TD at the end.

I did too! I wanted to see Sawyer a little though. I haven't had a chance to see how he looks.

Handing if off would be fine. He needs game reps. Just taking snaps and not fumbling and running clean plays is worth something.

Sawyer is no longer # 2 on depth chart. Didn?t you hear Leach last week with his comments about needing a new 2nd group. Rogers is QB1 and QB2.

Leach doesn't play his backup QB much, ever. It's just one of those for better or worse things with him and the way he does things.

It is a little hard to reconcile though that as much as he preaches the importance of repetition in his offense, he doesn't feel the need to get the #2 guy at the most important position live reps at every viable opportunity.

I think he needs to be playing some of those backups, because if Will goes down with injury, what is Leach going to do?

Play Sawyer.

He's getting reps in practice. I'm not sure how many reps people think he needs in game. It's not like our past coaches played the back up a ton either.

Yep it sounds simple but did you see all the center to QB bad exchanges in Aub game? They need game reps. Kinda like kicking PAT in the actual games. We kicked many in practice but as we saw in the game is a little different.
