Got back from Baton Rouge this afternoon and watched some game highlights to see what I might have missed and other things I noticed about the game and Baton Rouge. Here are my thoughts

The Good

- Thought we had a great fan turnout. Knew a lot of dawg fans there and felt like we were a very well represented team in Baton Rouge this weekend
- Zavion Thomas is going to be an electric player for us. Great burst
- On that same note, if Tulu touches the ball he's getting big yardage for us on kickoffs.
- Our defense played good enough to win, they were definitely gassed in the end though and got gashed

The Bad

- Every third down pressure was going to be coming at us but will was not adjusting to better routes to get the ball off quicker. It was a guarantee that his blindside was going to get attacked and he was going to get hit quick but no adjustments were made.
- Will has got to make better throws and the receivers have got to catch catchable balls. Both Statements can be true
- Running the same play on 4th and short is super predictable and getting a little old. Every body knows its coming

The Ugly

- Special teams is... pretty pitiful still. As soon as that PAT was missed I knew the game was over. Can't make a mistake like that in Tiger Stadium even if it "doesn't matter" in the end with the deficit we faced. We've all seen this song and dance before. At least he made that long field goal
- after being up 13-0, the rest of the game we were outscored 31-3. These game lapses we have are something that's not changing even with a veteran team.
- If most didn't think the game was over after the PAT, Austin dropping the punt was the nail. He is a leader and he has to catch that
- This was a very winnable ball game, offense going cold and not being able to handle pressure and dropped passes is what did us in. Frustrating.

Good post except the game was over for me on the 4th and 1 zone read where we handed the ball off. LSU's right end committed 100% to crash and Will could have pulled the ball and moon-walked for 6 yds around the left end.
