Never again hire a coach that doesn't believe in tight ends.

Never hire a scheme again. Hire a coach who will do whatever to win, not just ram the square peg in the hole

Our RT desperately needed help, Ojulare was living in Wills head. A TE would have changed the dynamics massively.

That's the thing, Leach doesn't need to have one catch passes- he needs to take an undersized OT, put him in a TE jersey, and run the offense as if it is down 1 receiver. That's it- no practice time or special coaching dedicated to TEs, but we'd be able to double a DE that's killing us

UGA murdering teams with their TEs. Even after Saban switched to a spread, he kept the TEs. When the best coaches in the country are keeping TEs, it should be a huge red flag when your coach doesn't believe in them and makes fun of the position.

It's weird though. When Leach was OC for Mumme at UK they incorporated TEs into the air raid. What changed?

Remember James Whelan? We couldn't account for him and he killed Joe Lee's defense.

I can think of what nfl team or one good college team that doesn't effectively use TE. It's like not even having a RB

Also, ask them if they know what prevent defense is. If they look confused and say no, that's the guy.
