MSU Defense vs LSU's offense.

The one thing that can keep us on the field longer is the QB scrambling vs our LBs. I'm not sure we have the speed at LB to keep him contained 100% of the time and that means support from the backfield. We have a ton of experience there and have to play smart and be in position.

Spy him with a safety because he's not a good enough passer to beat you with his arm. And for heavens sake dl and lb don't run past him when you're rushing him and give him green grass in front of him. Stay even in your rush and force him to throw from the pocket because he sucks as a passer. He's one read take off guy. Contain is the word of the day

Yeah. We can not allow much of a one man show. The guy is a legit speed scrambler.

Agree with both above. I think the key defensive frustration we could face could be giving up multiple 3rd and 10+ QB scrambles that sustain LSU drives and keep them in the game. They won't be able to run effectively but we've got to find anyway to cover their ball catchers and keep him contained. If we do, this could get ugly for them.

AZ was a good game before to adjust for scrambling QB. Things are lining up nicely for us.

Kinda like 14 where we came into death valley undefeated and unranked.
