Thank you all who have served and are serving! Don?t know if anyone knows anyone that passed that day. Praying it?s a great day of remembering for them.

I was in school and not allowed to watch the news. My teacher was alive during Pearl Harbor so I always think in the back of her mind she was equating it as the same and didn?t want us to see. I went home that day and cried knowing the evil that just took place. Forever grateful for this land we call home!

I remember I was sitting in my office that a.m. I usually kept the radio on low in the background and remember hearing initial reports. I ran out of the office and turned on the tv in the breakroom and just stood there in disbelief. Still sends shivers down my spine.

Also remember the 7000+ that were killed in military service as well as many more who were maimed and scarred in Afghanistan afterwards.
