The other lesson is don't worry the refs will give Bama the breaks if they need it. Welcome to the SEC.

Not sure what you were watching. Bama got called all day long. Refs missed some on both sides also. Texas clearly held on the pass play that put them in FG range. People always say Bama gets the calls their way even when they don't.

I watched their RT blantant hold on end who BY ran by. Easy hold call which would have pushed the ball back to midfield. If you can't see it you need glasses. It was right on the ball too so no excuse saying ref was looking somewhere else.

That call was the ballgame, that is what I'm talking about. Bama DBs hold every play. They called a few today.

We all knew bama was gonna win that game when Texas settled for another fg. And also they played soft coverage at the beginning of the game winning drive. To beat bama you have up to be agressive and score tds not fgs. Same story different Saturday for bama

Game played out perfectly for SEC. UT now knows they can play with SEC and Bama still won.

I wish we would celebrate one with 0:00 seconds left and the officials having left the stadium.

17 there was more time but we started thinking we had it won and lost. That was a game we should not have lost.

You're right. That was blatant holding. Should have been called.

Holding aside corner blitz should have broke down on the tackle. Game is over if he does that. Same thing last year if Green breaks down and makes the tackle against LSU, instead they throw a TD. Fundamentals.

I totally agree?.Bama dbs were definitely holding, grabbing on several potential big plays during the game. Sarkisian is going to do well at UT.

And if the officials would have called that safety Texas would have won the game by 1point. If Bama’s QB wasn’t down in the end zone then it should have been ruled intentional grounding still a safety. Bull crude that Bama don’t get calls go their way.

Ball was batted. No intentional grounding.

It amazes me that people can't understand that was not a safety... it take either a neophyte or someone sufferin' from RTRDS to think otherwise.

Yes... in the fact they overachieved expectations... otherwise.... No.

Well, I've seen plays stay alive as a ball carrier rolled over a defensive player laying on the ground. Which is what happened. So ok there. However the ball wasn't batted. The Bama QB intentionally threw the ball away. The ball just happened to be thrown into a Texas helmet.

No they won a game on the road against a team that they didn?t vastly out-talent like in the past. Now we know why saban bitched so much about NIL

Fact. It was a good run though.

When it ends in the next 2-3 years, things will become more interesting.

Agree ? we have the data for how well saban does when talent is somewhat equal.

Still a chance that the refs could retroactively take away our 3rd quarter score and give Bama the game.

They didn?t get called on the clear holding by the RT on the QBs scramble to the 8 yard line, when the game was on the line.

agreed, I will stipulate there was an uncalled hold on that play if you will stipulate there was an uncalled hold on a Bammer receiver for an easy TD earlier in the game. Even the moron announcers caught it.

You realize that wasn?t an SEC crew? It was a B1G 10 crew, I guess you think the B1G 10 wants an undefeated Bama? Feels like quite the stretch.
