Not really sure when it started, but one of my friends in 6 or 7th grade always wore Mississippi crap. Being a child raised only by my mom I had no idea about anything involving colleges and such. For whatever the reason, I disliked them then. Their fans have always seemed not to be my kind of people. Always too involved in their own personas. That kid is still one of my friends, but when he starts going full on hotty totty I just laugh.
still don't get the hotty totty crap.

I have hated TSUN since the day I was born, truthfully. Family was Maroon and White through and through. My Grandfather taught Freshman Drafting for the Engineering department through the early 80's. He still lives in Starkville to this day at the age of 97. My Mother works for MSU as an IT specialist at the ag research center in Stoneville, MS. My brother graduated from MSU with a B.B. in '08. So I've hated TSUN since the start and it has only grown since. Hail State.

I always hated them. I grew up in the 1970's, just after the SEC had integrated, so you can imagine how people were then. Plus, Ole Miss had been really good in the 60's, and were just starting to realize they werent a power anymore. My Dad's Rebel friends would say things like "why do you like State? All they are is a bunch of (N-words) now". Things like that. "State hasnt won anything since WWII, nobody roots for them"

Then bring on the 1981 and Dick Pace's cheating ass, costing us the Egg Bowl. John Fourcade holding the ball up and shaking it at our section sent my 12 yr old ass into a level of pissed off I've only experienced a couple of other times in my life.

Finally, last year's loss and the corresponding extreme hangover I had the next morning have left me wanting this year's pretty badly.

Since birth as well. It's always been fun rooting against them in everything. 2001 three point loss at the Tad Pad I was a youngster and the way those douchebags were celebrating set it in stone. Antonio Jackson missed a game tying 3 at the end I believe and those bastards went nuts. Walking through them pissed off cemented the hate. I think everyone has a moment as a kid that does it for em.

I've had far too many experiences like this to have any positive feelings about that school.

There's a reason State has far more minorities from Mississippi than UM does.

Damn Coach, you bring up some painful memories. I was sitting up there about the goal line when that penalty was called and Fourcade danced into the endzone holding the ball above his head. Makes me wanna puke even today.

But seriously I had first hand awareness of the Gillard (973-74) recruitment. Simple fact is that Gillard was State lean and was out bid by State (not really much). The bastards up north were upset and (upset is mild) went ballistic when gillard had the audacity to chose the assholes over State for the same inducements. He chose us instead of the bastards (which I know...knew in a couple of cases). Yep, we paid him but the uofm offered he same and actually more inductments but they were so pissed off he took our package. They turned us in to the NCAA( for doing the same as they did)...This is first hand BTW...No BS..first hand.It happened. But that is when I said 17 those assholes.

There is honor among thieves (and the whole SEC cheates) but those assholes have no honor.

Since birth like most, but sitting in the horseshoe of the '83 game cemented my hatred. I was just 7 and couldn't grasp what happened. Our side started cheering then stopped quickly. Then the other side went nuts. That's when the pain first started to sink in. God help me I hate ole miss with every fiber in my being.

Damn I was sitting on that end when that play happened. Never saw both teams cheer the same play. But Emorys coaching cost us that game.

I don't know.. I've just always been this way..... My grandfather liked both teams, and it's kinda weird that about half and half of the grandkids turned out on opposite sides.. for some odd reason I've never really got along with those cousins... lol The ONE OM grad of the bunch turned out to be, you know... *cough* All the State grads have turned out to be sucessful...

I wad dating a UM sorority girl while I was at a juco. Every time we went to a party the first questions out of everyone's mouth was what frat are you in, what does your Dad do. I hated the whole attitude.

Since birth. Saturday night pretty much summed up the story of their fans when they were doing the Texas A&M sway. They are a bunch of unoriginal ****tards.

Since the FG was blown back. I wasn't even a thought yet, but my mom was waiving her Confederate flag after the game and my dad took and snapped it in half. Our house was no longer divided from then on. They are divorced now and my mom still will not cheer for them.

My hatred really just started 3 years at the Egg Bowl. The previous year we had hosted some rebel family of one of the wife's coworker. They insisted we come to their tent in the grove next year. I also have a brother that graduated from OM. We went and have never felt so unwelcome in my life. We were called everything but a human being, had our cooler kicked over multiple times once a bunch of guys saw me go to it. I actually felt sorry for the people who invited us because their tent mates and tent neighbors treated them almost as bad for inviting us. I used to HATE Bama with every fiber of my being but compared to the bears, I'd buy a A tshirt before I cheer for the bears.

My family is consisted mostly of MSU people, so I was born with the Bulldog branding iron. Hated OM since I was going to Eggbowl games in the 1980's. They won most of the those games and it took a horrible toll, esp since I had to deal with OM fans at school. Year's later, I started to dislike their fans after growing up with so many, and after coming to terms with what they really were, pricks. Now I hate most of them. They are some of worst people in the Western Hemisphere and I'm not being facetious. I used to laugh when people in the sports media raved about Oxford, the grove, and how nice everyone is..now I have equal disdain for the media. Few outsiders truly understand what they're talking about when they speak of OM folks, grove, and Ole Miss in general.

.I saw was an Archie-lead OM team play Alabama in Jackson (yes, I am that old).

So I grew up liking OM.

But my dad is a MSU grad, so I attended some of those "Give'em Hell Robert Bell" games in Starkville in the early 1970's.

I think my disgust for OM blossomed when Jackie used to talk shit about them. Before Jackie MSU coaches paid OM the proper respect. Jackie thought they were shit & was not about the show them respect.

Jackie put them in the right perspective; Jackie knew the right emotional buttons to push in order to unite the MSU fanbase around their hatred for Ole Miss.

Of course, when Jackie would beat them on a semi-regular basis they would act like exactly how you would expect a bunch of rich assholes to act. This also solidified my hatred for OM.

Ive hated ole miss since I was in the 4th grade really. I was born a State fan for sure. My dad graduated from State, played ball at Jones JC had offers from State and Ole Miss. Told me himself the ole miss coaching staff and people were just assholes he chose State then he broke his arm couldn't play anymore. So I grew up a state fan, then when they had Eli and beat us 3 in a row from 02 to 04 I heard so much shit at school I was about to kill somebody. Then came 2005 and my boy Jerious Norwood from my hometown of Brandon, MS gave em hell. We went 3-9 but by God we whipped Ole Miss's ass. I was young and just yelled ''GO TO HELL OLE MISS!!!'', I think the people around us in section D of the west side were so shocked I did it, they laughed and joined in. Pretty soon the whole west side was doing it. I'll never forget it. I've had plenty of encounters with them at Egg Bowls since but I just hate them with every part of my being. Pure hate. I've had this Thursday on my mind for a long, long, time.

After I graduated from State. I did not follow college football that much. I only watched Pro Football. My first job out of college exposed me to your typical Ole Miss fan and I have have hated them ever since and I gave up watching Pro Ball except the Saints and only follow college.
