I saw those numbers yesterday morning. I think they came out before LSU's game.

They didn't seem to reflect any update in the main ranking after that game.

But an interesting thing is the game control stat:

1 - BYU
2 - UGA
3 - UTk
4 - State
5- Bama

Seems to FPI we had the 4th most in control performance of the weekend. However that's measured. Makes sense as after our second drive, Memphis never got back within single digits. After our fourth drive, Memphis never got back within 2 scores.

FPI (like RPI and most all metrics) is worthless until you have a decent sample size

Tell me that it heavily weighs TOP and probably also a bit of First drive TD.

Bama had 31 min. We had 41 min. One of us definitely controlled our game more. Doesn't matter how many times you throw, Mississippi State will always be a ball control team.
