If you ever watched Daniels at Arizona
State he's a one read take off guy. Not much of a passer but great athlete. He won't beat you throwing the ball.

One thing that is concerning is lsu gets immediate pressure, but fsu's qb is mobile enough to get to the edge to make a throw. If will gets immediate pressure, he can't do that

Having a threat back there affects the game even when they don't return it. Teams will punt out of bounds at times or even shank them (trying to be too fine) trying to prevent explosive guys from returning. On the other hand, a sure handed guy is great, but a punter can just blast away bc he doesn't have to worry about getting beat on a return. You blast a punt to a good returner, and your coverage usually gets beat

First and 99 to go for LSU with less than a minute and a half to go & FSU goes into prevent D. Very lucky to win. Prevent D in these situations usually lose when you rush 3 and play prevent, college & NFL. FSU very lucky after bonehead pitch at goal line earlier.

NFL makes sense but in college there are so many ways to get the clock stopped that it doesn't make much sense. A minute can last forever in college.

Norvell made two costly mistakes last night, not kicking the field goal right before half then that bone head dumb toss to the running back. That play and Leach throwing a backwards pass inside the 5-yard line against Memphis are big time head scratchers.
Norvell had the look of a kid who made a 70 on a test to stay eligible in school, the look of relief was priceless. (After the win).
