Wheat will no doubt have a good season. I think the breakout candidate at LB is Bookie. He runs like a deer and hits like mac truck. I feel like he has the ability to blend the best of Matt Wells and BMac and be a special player for us.

Agree Watson is also set for a big year. He does remind me of BMac. Not Wells. Not sure we've had a guy like Wells ever. Wells could flat out fly.

Speaking of athleticism on D. I recently saw a video of Trevion Williams running the 100 meter. I haven't seen too many at 6'5 275 run like that.

Yeah combine that with his power at 265 is a load. You watch him pancake several different OL on the rush. He and Davis should be the best tandem in the SEC and maybe nation. We must utilize these two talents.

Don't be surprised if DeShawn Page is the breakout stat guy. He will replace Brule' easily in my opinion and we need that athletic LB who can cover and run down "space" plays. At times, our starting LBs will appear to be to slow in space for certain formations (Ole Miss game last year) and Page is the one who can solve that problem. He will likely also benefit from the pressure of the DL on the QB with sacks.

This, it's a dangerous combination. I can't remember having 2 elite rush ends ever. We've typically had one elite tackle or an elite end. To have 2 together is going to be special! Turnovers galore are on the way!

Yea, that’s what struck me. The guy has the quickness and explosiveness of a D 1 wing in basketball but he’s coming at you with 265 pounds, plus he’s got a mean streak. Someone is going to take Wheat in the early rounds IMO.

He could easily go 1st round. If Davis is what he was pre injury he is 1st round. Forbes could be first round as well.
