Bianco goes from almost a certain he was getting the boot to becoming the second highest paid coach in the country. He owes Tim Elko some of that money?.

In my opinion, it?s a stupid call. He should have gotten a raise, but not 6mil a year plus incentives?

He's going to be there for as long as he wants to be whether their fans like it or not.

That's what winning a Natty does.

it's all good because now they think he's the greatest ... funny how perception can change in a month. For the record I always thought he was a decent coach... but in much the same way as Bobby Cox was it's just hard to get all the way to the very top ... He would lose in the regionals but the number of wins during regular season also tells a story ... not sure he's worth that kind of money though

He had them over a barrel because they screwed him last year. They took out the buyout clause last year in his contract extension. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

He deserves it. Others will pass him soon, but for now he's probably where he should be. He's struggled post season, but has consistently put together really good teams and now he's a national champion. That's about all you can ask for.

This can't be right.....for a baseball coach?

The google machine says $1.625 plus incentives and yearly raises.

I'm thinking this is a typo. I bet you meant 1.6.

Good for him. And to think they wanted to fore his butt at the end of the season.

I'm happy for him and some of the OM players. Other players and their entire fanbase can eat John Goodman's ass. Glad Bianco won it and not the TN c*nts that acted like a spoiled child all year long....

Hope he and the webs follow up their championship year in 2023 just as well or worse than we performed in 22, dead last in the West! And we better not be next to last or mid-pack. Hail State!

I think defending a championship is the most difficult thing to do in baseball. Unless you're the 1950's Yankees.**
