I'm thinking more and more that they're setting them up for a big fall at some point in the future. Even with the stellar "recruiting," they just don't have a whole lot going for them that should be drawing positive media interest. Quite the opposite; their history and their efforts to preserve it instead of downplaying it should make them a great candidate for a whipping boy. For some reason that honor goes to us though.

sure hope they drop them from the top 25. gives us hope on thanksgiving and we all know why

Their ranking has been totally logical all year IMO.

They are or at least were in the top 25 in most all of the computer metrics, which the bottom half of the polls are heavily based upon...

And they are not better than us at all. Id say we have the slightly better team. Another reason this year has been so frustrating. We are better than our record.
