Does anyone use a hotspot to get espn etc at their tailgate on the msu campus?

Just curious if it worked or to much internet traffic.

I no longer have Satellite service at home. So... exploring my options here. Looks like use a hotspot or dish tailgater service.

We tried it but it was hit or miss. The closer to the stadium and more people in the area, the less signal. If there is 5G near your set up, that may be a game changer.

Make friends with someone set up close by with a Dish and ask if you can plug into theirs. We've had great luck with that, obviously you need to return the favor but getting there early the next game and holding their spot, etc.

The Mobile Star Link System may also be an option, but is going to be costly unless you use it at home, deer camp, camping, etc.

I used the hotspot on my cspire phone in Memphis for the MSU v Memphis game tailgate. It worked flawlessly. I used it at our tailgate in Starkvegas for a game last year (don?t remember which game) it worked flawlessly again. I brought some rabbit ear antenna for local/cbs game.
