However, I don't doubt that Dan somewhat regrets his actions and decisions. Personally I would not want Mullen back. Leave the past in the past.

Dan is not stupid. I think he has gotten clarity on how good he had it in Starkville. Make no mistake IF our job comes open in the next 2-3 years he will pursue it and will pursue it aggressively. Now do not get it twisted, Dan would have to apologize to a bunch of people but Dan Mullen with Chris Parson would be hell on wheels for any defense to try to stop.
