Reminds me how they used to say when Vince Coleman and Ricky Henderson played somewhere that the basepaths were basically knee deep mud. UM doesn't have a power back so water the hell out of that grass.

Turf and grass totally different as you already know. Quick cutting won't be so quick and smooth on grass. Someone here posted the numbers of Freeze's percentages on grass and its a losing one or something to that effect. The fact that they played 6 straight games on turf and now will have to play on slick damp grass will be an adjustment factor.

Solid point, but the goal remain the same. Take away their shiftiness and make this a physical game.

Water the field down, throw an extra layer of sand on top of the grass, throw some fertilizer out tomorrow and see if the grass can grow, etc

There are endless possibilities that we can do to slow them down.
