Football: 7-6 (4-4) Embarrassed 34-7 in the Liberty Bowl

Basketball: 18-16 (8-10) No NCAAT. First round NIT loss.

Baseball: Projected 26-30 (10-21) Lose 12 of last 13. No postseason

Who is it again in charge of our athletic program

And yes I am in a foul mood with the first round Game 7 OT Penguins loss that perfectly caps a sucka$$ sports year.

Honey, do we have any bourbon left?

I guess we have to depend on the intramural Rugby team, which my brother was back on in the 70's.

Do we still have club hockey? I would travel to the CrossPlex for that.

Silver lining: going 4-4 in conference is actually a great achievement for us. We've only had one plus .500 record in conference play this century.

Football won 7 games and is returning 17 starters and improved drastically on offense in 2021 with the coach Cohen hired. Baseball sucked ass but literally won a national title less than 12 months ago with the coach Cohen hired. Basketball has been mediocre for a long time and Cohen fired the coach who someone else hired and hired another one who is killing it in the portal and has most of us excited for basketball for the first time in a decade. This year sucked. It was a transition year in a lot of major sports. The future of all 3 major programs looks to be in very good hands.
