Agree, 1-run game and each of the last 2 innings, we get the 1st two runners on and not a single attempt to get them over. Hancock could have sacrificed them to 2nd and 3rd with a LoTan tying run, but no, Hancock instead hits into a DP.

Well guys. It is kind of like basketball. When a team plays tight great defense, they get the benefit of the doubt on foul calls. When they play a lazy style of defense, they get called for the little ticky tack ones.

These umpires have seen how bad State has sucked this year, so they are not giving our pitchers anything close. And they see our batters taking pitches 2 inches off the plate so they ring them up on the ones 4 inches off the plate. Bad teams do not get close calls, and rarely find the lucky 4 leaf clover or get a horseshoe stuck up their ass. This team is getting its just desserts for the poor effort the year after winning a natty.

This would have never happened had the ump not taken over and then got hunt frustrated. The first batter had three strikes on him before he got the infield single. The second and third batters, hunt would have stuck out had the ump called the zone correctly.
