That is the story of this season. We have a pitiful approach. When a pitcher is struggling we swing at shitty pitches. When a pitcher is throwing stri,es we take fast balls down the middle then strike out looking. The last 3 innings we had runners all over the bases but no one stepped up with a good at bat. Please put The Mule in center and play Downs in left.

Or how does this sound. No one on base and we hit deep fly balls, right to the warning tract. And of course they are caught. We have bases loaded with no outs and we take 3 straight looking strikeouts or a popup to the back of the infield. When we do need a Sac Fly we can't produce. No situational hitting at all this year.

2 for 11 is pathetic but no team is going anywhere if they have to score 9 runs to win against a Friday night ace.

We need to drop Hancock down in the lineup. Him hitting a rally killing double play what seems to be every AB really hurt us tonight.

We need a new hitting coach.

We need to diversify our lineup and find OBP guys for the MIF and CF spots.

We need to learn how to hit oppo. We suck at it. All these big guys just up there trying to pull the shit out of every pitch. It's a pull side bomb or nothing.

It's too late for this team, we need to recruit and rebuild quickly. It's a sad day with no Sec and Regional play for Msu Baseball. Football and Basketball is one thing but Baseball is a whole different thing in Starkville. Never saw this season being as bad as it is turning out, big disappointing season!
