Mississippi State (24-17, 8-10 SEC) won its sixth straight series over Ole Miss (22-17, 6-12 SEC) in dramatic fashion after Brad Cumbest hit the go-ahead home run in the top of the 11th to give the Dawgs a 7-6 victory in the rubber match on Saturday (April 23) at Swayze Field in Oxford.
