Mississippi State (21-16, 6-9 SEC) dropped the third game of the series to No. 14 Auburn (24-12, 8-7 SEC) by a score of 3-2 Saturday night (April 16) at Dudy Noble Field. Despite dropping the final game, State won the series, 2-1, over the Tigers. The series finale did not start until two hours after the original start time due to a weather delay.
