St. Bonaventure senior guard transfer Asianae Johnson on an official visit to Miss. State this weekend (women's basketball). She's a big scorer in the Atlantic 10...with over 18 points per game. Can fill it up.

She would be a nice pick up... we need more perimeter scoring and scoring off the bench depending on whether she starts or not

Asianae Johnson's home is listed as Brooklyn, NewYork. In her videos you see that flashy New York ball handling, quick, penetrating style. This, including her first step and cross over dribble. Similar to Anastasia Hayes, she's extremely hard to stay in front of. Also, her pull up, mid range game is very, very good, though..she rarely extended out to the 3 point line in the videos. Her midrange game is better than anyone currently on the team (offensive approarch similar to many guards and wings before the implementation of the 3 point line).

Experienced, more than good talent level to very talented group of guards....

- Asianae Johnson- grad transfer

- Mia Moore- freshman
Though some are very much works in progress, can potentially win a lot of games with this group, need frontcourt help

Guard position continues to be stout, lack of frontcourt, post players has been key to holding this team back....lost 4 post players for last season, played with nearly (exception of Charlotte Khole) all guards coming down the stretch this past season...had some success playing small ball but the bottom eventually fell out after the injury to Denae Carter.

(4 frontcourt players out last season...was hard to overcome this)

- Denae Carter- injured, out for season down the stretch (expected back)
