Euro is saying Armageddon. GFS less potent. SPC is team Euro. Still not sure how bad it will be here yet. Scared it might be a nocturnal event either way.

These things are coming like clockwork now ... at least we are on a midweek pattern instead of every weekend

Was reading an article concerning this weather pattern. There was a strong Polar Vortex this year. As it breaks down, it will continue to send these waves of cold low pressure into the United States resulting in outbreaks of possible severe weather as the warm and cold air masses collide. This pattern should continue throughout much of May.

Upgrade to enhanced. All modes of severe weather looking possible. Thinking the worst may be confined to AR, but just got to see how it plays out.

The NAM is starting to pick up on the Wednesday event and the early returns are not looking good. Especially for AR and western MS. The significant tornado parameter is maxing out starting that afternoon and also showing discrete supercells. Being as this is the first run of one model I'm not going to be making any guesses yet as to how bad it could be but know early enough indications are not good.
