He will get better and much stronger over time, but I do know there will be days he want have it and I'm ok with my ED guys firing away.

It's the most important game of a series imo. You're either going for a sweep, trying to win the series, or trying to avoid a sweep. Cade will be better than 95% of the guys other teams throw on Sunday, so I'm cool with keeping him there.

I never thought I'd be saying this but I think Stinnett is gonna do a good job for us as a starter. I think he's gonna give us a chance to win more often than not. His breaking ball is so good it's gonna be a plus against the better hitting teams. I'm going out on a limb but it's just a hunch since watching him pitch as a starter. I believe he's gonna get better the more he starts. I know we need him to be.

He pitched pretty well yesterday until the last inning. You could tell quickly that inning he was out of gas. He had to battle the terrible ump, and only gave up 1 run thru 3. If he gets more efficient as the season goes, he will be solid enough.

The ump and the missed pop up cost him pitches and a run. I think he's gonna be ok. Not sims or Bednar obviously but I think he'll give us a chance to win in most starts. He really shutdown tech.

I'm probably wrong, because I usually am, but I want him to stay on Sundays. I feel like we'll win every Sunday game. Just gotta figure out how to get one more.

Probably should have mentally gassed. Seriously, the ump had a different zone every inning. Sometimes it changed pitch to pitch. You could just tell Stinnett was done and had spent everything trying to guess what the ump would call- then he started missing big time in the 4th.

He certainly turned it around after my post. He was 1-7, 3 k, 2 errors when I made the post. He did have 2 walks yesterday though. I made an emotional post in a game thread - that's a first**

ETA... the better one to bump would be railing on cumbest yesterday; he turned into Barry bonds since that post
