I wonder how Florida and SC jobs opening affects our targets

I?m sure it will screw us, plus we?ll offer the wrong guy the opportunity.

One good year out of 9. They got hot that one year but it appears it was an outlier.

Would have to think Bob Richey would be a candidate at SC

I believe he's one of the targets for Kansas St.

I don't know if we are fishing in the same pond. They are probably looking for a good hire.

Martin was really good at Ksu, 4 out of five years Ncaa and all advanced at least after one round. He declined at South Carolina, not sure what is ahead for him as he has under achieved his ability. I think his on court demeanor has hurt him with recruiting.

It's a big NO for me and anyone thinking Msu and Martin.

I?m sure Florida will try to pull a successful power 6 coach from a smaller school. If none of them bite though it could put them into our pool. Hopefully we have someone wrapped up before UF starts calling

It's still a head scratcher for me to this day why Martin left that situation for USCe of all places.

If I recall it was a player or two who reported to AD that Martin had "verbally and maybe hit someone of the team" I think the AD and Martin had some bad words and Martin left. He was on the rise as a HC and I think his ego go way ahead of his abiity which was outstanding as a x and 0 guy. Just too bad to be such a good coach to under achieve for being hard headed, times have changed and now days it's pretty tough to manage a team especially with NIL and soft kids! Yep I said it, LOL!
