You can tell the hitters who?ve had actual hitting coaches in the past. The juco ranks have some pretty damn good ones.

How many current players played in summer leagues? That?s where they typically get quality hitting instruction. The D1 level hitting coachea I?ve known teach very little technique and expect you to hit at that level.
