We're literally gonna **** around and let these chirpy little bitches win this damn game.

Chirpy little bitches is a perfect description. So want to win this one and break their will.

Wow you are amazing. Any lottery numbers I should play?

18, 32, 43, 11, and 36. Oh wait, did you want winning numbers? Can't recall ever seeing those numbers win this year....

Should have walked in our lead run.

Whelp this is on Lemons and Foxhall

maroonmania

Ok, I will now just look for scores after games. This team isn't currently worth investing time on.

msstate7

I don't like telling one of your better hitters to take a strike, but after that AB, cumbest might have to take one next time

I really would like an explanation of pulling Simmons who would have closed out this win to clinch the series in order to put in Stinnet to see if he can handle the pressure. Use him in the 3rd game if need be, but Lemon should have won this game first.

Welp we better start recruiting some replacement pitchers for 2023.

How bad is Walling that we need to roll Stinnett, Tullar, and Stinnett into games?

Cumbest may need to pull a Mangum and pitch this year.

Not sure our basketball team could find a way to blow the equivalent of an 8-run lead. That's like being up 30 at the half and losing

Hard to blame, I'm sorry but they should squarely carry the blame. I can live with the fact if we lost with Simmons in the game, but he dealt their lineup easily in the 8th and high probability of winning the game for us in the 9th. This is on Lemon and Foxhall entirely. We lost this game and will most likely lose tomorrow.

If we don?t win this series we are in a big trouble. Tomorrow is a huge game that we must win. I didn?t get to watch but blowing a lead that big is in excusable especially against Tulane. It?s not like this was LSU it?s Tulane

Well when the pitcher hasn't even shown you he can throw one he might as well take one. Also if he is a good hitter, he can get the job done with swinging at only 2 strikes.

The bad news is that the 2022 team has not yet been passed around the SEC yet. This is the easy part of the schedule. Tomorrow versus some Tulane frat boys is nothing.

If SEC coaches can make it ugly, they will

Honestly speaking, I didn't think this team would make the CWS, much less win it. Prior to the year starting I thought this team would be like the 2014 team. Good but not CWS good but your analogy may be more accurate. That '15 team was bad.

That is what I've been saying since the first weekend of the year. The same can be said for some of our position players too though but it's plain to see with the pitching staff.

And so is this one. Other than a couple of pitchers. Really bad and there is absolutely no logical reason or proof of why they will be anything other than bad.

True but he can pitch Stone again, only threw about 10 balls, like a warmup.

Fristoe is still there.

Saltydog
03-05-2022, 07:32 PM
IF Sims comes back and that's a big IF he needs to go back to the pen. It's not that he hasn't pitched well as a starter because other than the Northern KY game he's been outstanding but putting him back in the pen gives us our best chances of winning on the weekends because we just don't have any depth on the back end. I'd move Cade to 1, keep Preston at 2 and move Simmons to 3. Fristoe midweek and hopefully Hunt can return soon too.

So up 10-3, I figured we'd do what good teams do and not blow a freaking 7 run lead, so I went and did other things and I'm glad I did. I'm glad I didn't have to go through that.

This team is in huge trouble and honestly, there may be too many problems to overcome. Just an inexcusable loss

Because to quote our National Championship winning coach, ?We were going with Parker there to figure it out?. What kind of dumbass answer is that?? Just say I 17ed up and own it.

They have no vocal leadership. We have a bunch of front runners or silent leaders. We need someone who will get in guys faces and challenge them. Sadly, that is not something that can be taught. Either born with it or not and none of our guys were.

Tulane series so far has been a complete disaster. Game 1 we lose our best pitcher to injury likely for the year. Game 2 we blow an 8 run lead due to our offense going to sleep for 7 innings and our bullpen being totally mishandled by our coaching staff.

Can't wait to see what happens in Game 3 tomorrow.***
