Looks like a squall will push through with a damaging wind threat and maybe an isolated tornado. Right now not looking like a significant event.

The severe area has been confined to primarily the NE part of the state. Storm mode looks to be linear with mainly a damaging wind threat. Really looks to lose a lot of its punch from today. Unless it drastically overachieves I'm not expecting a lot. Looks to pretty much be clear of the state by noon Monday.

Latest update has shifted almost the entire severe threat into AL. About the only part of MS left in the slight risk is Pickwick Lake.

One hell of a lightning show going on west of Helena where there is a tornado tracking towards Tunica. Watching it on the MDOT Camera on the River Bridge
