Could not agree more. Part of talent is putting the round bouncy thing through the orange cylinder thing. A concept ole Ben has forgotten is key to winning basketball games. You simply cannot win basketball games from the paint only. The game is won by shooting 3pters nowadays. This team would?ve been great in the early 90s

Yea but we wanted him from the jump. We are actually lucky he went to UNC and got a wee bit of coaching prior to the Ben Howland WW1 ball he has to play now. He?d probably be at North Texas or something if he signed with us initially. Same story with Jeffries. Although tough to argue he got any coaching that was better at Memphis.

You can have uncoached talent and lose a lot. We are seeing it. Just a mediocre coach with a post 1990 basketball approach would have this team as a 5-7 seed. Instead we are stuck in the 80?s.

Maybe that freezes players portal decisions to see who the new coach will be, for both incoming and outgoing players? But then again maybe most dont decide until the July 1st deadline anyway. At least I think thats the deadline.

If he didn't have a Howland Resume, woulda been fired 1-2 yrs ago. We REALLY need him to retire for Branding Purposes Cuz we don't have UCLA STREET CRED to just flat out shit can him without perception backlash.
