Edited: It was only a joke. Can this thread just be deleted before we further divide our fanbase. I thought we could, at least, agree on our dislike of Ole Miss.

Be careful what you say. Someone might threaten to fight you at some random undisclosed location in Memphis.

Saw a retweet of a pic of Tony Connor reading to children. I'm sure he frequented South Panola's library about as much as Jerrell Powe did.

Are you sure they werent teaching him how to read

Can't lie.. I'd love to have him here.

Children's books are most likely the only books on his reading level.

We all know the bear helpers work magic for their recruits when it comes to ACT's, GPA's, and FHA's.

Surely we have better things to criticize our rivals about than taking the time to read to children...

Sorry, didn't realize that criticizing a dumbass middle schoolish thread was called "trolling" in your book.

These are the kinds of threads that make me question my interest in message boards.

Alright mods, just delete this thread. It was meant to be a joke, not another reason to argue.

Yeah, it was more likely to be just a pic of him taking his turn to read with his classmates

Why do I have a mental image of a first grader telling him to sound it out.

Me too. I wouldn't mind starting 22 guys who can't read/write etc., have a police record a mile long, and have about 10 "kids" a piece. THAT is a championship football team. I don't understand why people get up in arms over this stuff. It makes no sense. It seems folks think it is in some way a reflection on the school or town. That's idiotic.

You are correct. To quote a team doctor at Wayne County, " I pray he makes it to the pro's because he is to stupid to hang of a garbage truck".

And you won't. He may not be the most intelligent, but his football skills are off the chart

this might be the stupidest thread ever. Is there not something else to discuss besides making Fun of Tony Conner reading to Children.

you mean "trying to read to children." to assume he was successful would be speculative.

I still think it was a group of his classmates and it was just his turn to read
