Their starter was outstanding. He threw the breaking ball for strikes against the guys that struggle with the breaking ball. One of Tanner?s at bats he threw 7 straight breaking balls in a 8 pitch at bat catching Tanner looking at a 91 mph fastball for strike 3. Tanner was literally leaning expecting the breaking ball away. Their starter shut us Don 2 years ago and their closer closed us out 2 years ago. California high school baseball has more quality players in a 50 mile radius that we have in 3 contiguous states.
