I would think so. I know in the Memphis area 6th graders play on 10 foot goals with the full 29.5 ball.

Gotta give little man trying to take the charge credit. That's a big ole boy he's trying to man up.

My son played against him this fall in football. He's at least 6 ft tall now if not closer to 6'2".

Oh wow, I figured they lived in Dallas or somewhere in Texas. We might actually have a shot at him

He's on my grandson's swim team. My grandson is a year older and fairly tall for his age but about a foot shorter than Dampier's son.

Little Damp needs 2B playing with at least 8th and maybe 9th graders. Him playing against much shorter/slower competition does not really help his game.
Plus, the opposing teams have no chance of winning.

He is listed as 6-5. I?ve stood near him and if he isn?t that tall then he is close. His sister is in eighth grade and is 6-4 or 6-5. She is in that awkward phase where she looks like a baby giraffe running up and down the court. She has potential to be very good but unfortunately is a really nice kid, not a desirable trait for a post.
Of course nobody should be surprised by either?s height or ability. Erick?s wife is 6-0 and played basketball at JSU. She helps coach some of the kids? rec teams and is a good coach.

Don?t worry, he is playing up too. He just plays this league with some of his classmates.

He?s all of 6?5?. And yes, that?s a 10 foot goal.

The scoreboard in the video looked to say 30 - 0. That's rough.

It's not just that. All of his siblings go there too and have for years. His youngest is in the same grade as my youngest there. Good kids and family.
