Yeah. Auburn is going to hire a guy that couldn't beat Alabama.

If given the opportunity, Mullen would beat Alabama at Auburn.

Given Mullins history, what makes you think this? He couldn't do it at Florida.

Freezus should be their number one target.

It has more to do with Auburn, their resources and their approach to the iron bowl. I think Mullen is as good or better than Malzahn. Mullen is better than Haslin.

As for Florida, what Florida coach hasn't lost to Alabama?? All of them, more times than not.

Wasn?t he being looked at to come in at OC there as a HC in waiting after he got canned?

They'd hire Freeze before they hired Mullen. Donny Shoes might get an OC job at a P5 but they ain't hiring him as head coach after all the shit at Florida is coming out.

Doubt they hire a coach 0-11 vs Bama.

The first thing they are looking at on resume's is records vs alabama

Malzahn is a much better play caller than Merlin. He also ain't scared of Saban at all. Hell he beat Saban a lot. Mullen is horrified of Saban.

I would rather have Gus as my coach than Mullen.

If Dak played for Gus in 2014 or 2015 they wouldve won the national title.

people forget how damn good that 2019 auburn team was, they just had a Bad QB ( Bo Pickz) . They lost to LSU in death valley by 3 points

Malzahn had the toughest gig in America and performed. Almost any other school in the US would?ve been happy with his overall product. As long as Saban is coaching, Aubbie is a terrible job because of absolutely unreal expectations.

If they basing it off of who beats Bama, they have a pretty limited pool to choose from. Freeze might be the answer

Y'all know Freeze would fit in at Auburn perfectly. They may actually tell the SEC/NCAA to screw off and hire Freeze. Desperate time and all.

I kinda agree. If Freeze?s downfall had not also been sexually related, I?d agree 100%.

I get everyone is mad that Dan handed us divorce papers. However, he is a good coach and Auburn would be a better fit for him and his offense.

Concur, I'd take him in Starkvegas if Leach doesn't get it on trek in the next year or two...if Gus still has the fire.

Danny could not handle the pressure and outside influencers on the Plains... no way.

Freezus would be "Malzhan Lite" IMO...

Auburn folks on Reddit are saying the #1 guy is Tom Herman and there is mutual interest. His agent and AU are already talking.

He had at LEAST two chances to beat bama with the DOGS and didn?t.....and would have at least One or two more if he had not left when he did....
