Makes it aggravated assault to hit an umpire. Use to be a charge of simple assault.

Has this been an issue that required a bill? I haven't heard of any instances in state.

maybe has something to do with anything from T-ball to little league to college ..... wow, sure would think there are more important matters for the legislature to be concerned with
