I see some talk about Durkin being a potential candidate for the A&M DC job. I think that would make their defense scary, bc they have some serious talent on that team. And it made me wonder what happened to the big 5 star recruit D Lineman from a few years back that chose A&M out of Mississippi? I watched A&M several times and never saw him make a play, never even saw him on the field. Last name McKinley maybe?

McKinley Jackson is still on team averaging about a tackle a game. I dont think he got as many snaps this season as he did last season.

A&M could become deadly if Durkin was their DC.

They'll need Johnson, weigman (5 star freshman), or king to be a good qb

That's him. Why is he not playing more? Everyone was convinced he was a stud and would be big time. Injury, or just too many horses at A&M?

They had a lot of horses this year that will graduate I believe

Did Jackson not get in a bit of trouble there at some point?

Offensively they'll need Johnny Manziel to return. Their offense is pretty bland imo.

Well he got arrested for felony drug possession back in August, so I doubt he?s really been focused on his craft.

So... the guy that left to be HC at Duke couldn't really get to that scary point but Durkin is gonna be scary.... I guess Jimbos DC at FSU would be scary too... Jeremy Pruitt...

Yikes. That's no good

They need a new Head Coach to even have a chance to become deadly.

Dirkin couldn't stop straight ass hand offs last night. I'll never get the idea he's something special. They picks a couple transfers that improved their defense.

Yeah, I kinda agree. Baylor was as one dimensional as it gets! Their QB was missing wide open receivers 10 yards away from him. It wasn't a magical performance from the om secondary...it was miserable QB play

I watched Wegman twice on TV this fall. He equaled the hype both games.

Have no idea of the competition level but he certainly looks the part.

Of course there is a porn chick size gap between high school ball and the SEC west.

Ill fear TAMU the day the become consistent. They win some they shouldnt and lose some the shouldnt every year. Just a wild card if we come out on the right side year to year with them. Durking don't change that

I think they'll be your typical Texas A&M team where they are good enough to win 8 games or so. They've taken some losses on defense this offseason due to graduation.

I agree with this. Until Jimbo turns the reigns over to someone else they'll struggle and never become what they could. They just signed the #1 recruiting class in the country and have pretty much been top 5 the last few years. Even with Durkin offense will be the problem. That team continues to have problems keeping a steady Qb. They can't seem to keep a starter over 2 years.
