Yeah Alstott was a beast, and he had decent wheels for a big man too. This guys just big.

Agree. Alstott never stopped churning those legs. This guy is big and plays for Purdue, but that where the similarities end. Alstott is one of my favorite all time players

Right on. Alstott made a lot of dbs make "business decisions" when he was coming there way.

Of this, there is no doubt. He also wasn?t going down on 1 hit, either.

Most entertaining so far. SC/NC was good too. Today has been the best day of games so far.

Appreciate it. That took back a few years, I'm getting nostalgic in my old
age!

Y?all act like you never heard of Refrigerator Perry.

Someone else did a tackle in the backfield earlier this week.

Unbelievable how quick his feet were and how agile he was for such a big man. Him and Warrick Dunn were a great combo. Literally thunder and lightning! I had Alstott on my fantasy team several years cause he was a td maker on the goal line.

Absolutely. I remember the Fridge Super Bowl TD, but I hated it. That should have been Sweetness?s. He toted the bears to the redzone that whole game and Ditka shorted him scoring out of spite. Not Perry?s fault, happy for him, but still.

Going back to Alstott, I loved how he always kept moving those legs, using his hand to stay up, and turning back into the field while running vs going out of bounds. You had to WANT to tackle that man.

Whiskey 6 with the FB TD! I?d love to see a revival of the FB.

Amen to that. Kevin Buie and Michael Davis at State were like that to a certain degree obviously not Alstott level but loved watching those 2 run.

Me too. My dad knew his family well and I got to know him a little. Good dude and a bad man running the football.

He?s a trooper now. Could you imagine Big Mike telling you to get out of the vehicle?

His brother Jeremiah was actually a better back. Think Mike but a bit leaner and faster. He would?ve been a great bulldog
