Alabama should just drop the claim to 1941 and that be the end of it. Houlgate system name Alabama the NC that year. Texas was named by some one else.

Minnesota was named the AP NC that year. Rightfully so, as they were undefeated and untied.

Sold!!! Not sure we deserve it but wished we could have played another game to try to improve our record. But I'll take one NC for y'all to net one more.
