If there were a marketing person with any sense in their head at OM, they?d embrace the sentiment and support it openly. It?s not like it?ll change the school logo, but it might actually buy them some good will. Fortunately, they?re too dumb to see that.

If this is the case, then that sucks. If the proceeds profit James Meredith or a charity, then, that?s different, but if not, then I hope they stop her. It would be terrible for her to make money off of his pain.

I'm kinda surprised there was not a push a few years ago to just call themselves Mississippi. Black bears, land sharks, no flag, no colonel but keep the old Southern term for the plantation owner's wife.

Their entire existence is stepping back in time, remembering those Home and Garden Magazine national championships. Would say it must suck to be tbem but they aren?t smart enough to even understand suck of that magnitude.

OM fans are mostly ragged-out, jacked up Chevy driving, redneck racists that never attended college a day in their lives. They cling to the romanticized confederate traditions. Does this surprise anyone? Brookhaven HS uses their logo, but not a peep about that.

James Meredith riot ended October 1st 1962 and our secret flight took place in March of 1963. I understand equality in education Trump's integration of College athletics but this ESPN article really shows how shocked so many major players in the game of college basketball were when they had never heard of this game until a few years ago. Sad how a great event just faded away.
