I told y’all Gabrielle was a package deal with Lebby… Lebby doesn’t need him at OK. Told him to stay away from Oxford. Bo Nix ain’t going there either.

I was skeptical of the 'it's all Lebby group' but I'm starting to see the light.

I was skeptical of the 'it's all Lebby group' but I'm starting to see the light.

Kiffin wanted out, but no one would take him. Lebby was gone all along if Kiffin stayed. I had heard Lebby had actually been asked about the FL OC job, but he knew OK was coming open. Lebby ran that offense last year, with Kiffin screwing it up with “analytics” and going for it on 4th downs on your own 25.

OM has lost Corral and Lebby. They are not keeping all 4 running backs they have, the o-line was senior heavy. They are in trouble next year. Most of the really good transfer guys signed yest with a few remaining.

Kiffin is building a nuclear bomb. It will explode on year and they will be worse off than freeze. He thought he would do 2 years with Coral and get another gig. That didn’t work and now he is stuck and staring a 5-7/6-6 year in the face depending on who they can get to transfer in at qb…

Lebby called the plays. Kiffin gave his "thoughts", but the play calling was Lebby.

And this was from Gary Danielson's mouth during their CBS game. The same thing was said during their A&M game as well.

And Corral was a perfect match for Lebby's offense. Just like Burrow was for Joe Brady's offense.

Sounds kinda familiar without the Corral (could add win a few bowl games, and then go to a real football school)

I know Bama was and always is loaded with talent, but Kiffin won a NC with Blake Simms, a converted RB, running the show. I?m hard pressed to believe that Kiffin has suddenly lost his play calling/QB coaching ability. I think it?ll come down to if he is motivated or not. If he wants to get that next big job, he may stay hard to handle for us. If he?s discouraged by not getting a better job, he might be hard to stomach for them. Only time will tell.

Kiffin knows offense. I agree. But that 2014 team had elite rb in Henry and yeldon and OL play and the best receiver in football in Cooper who had 50% of the teams receiving yards and receptions.

He's also never built a roster in his professional career. Let's see how he manages that.

Agree. I?m interested in seeing how they do this next year, just like I?m interested in seeing how we do with the Oline turnover. It will be a very telling season, 2022.

He had Saban on his ass making him stay focused. At OM the only thing making him stay focused is boosters wife’s dropping their bra…

He didn't win one with Blake Sims. They lost in semis to Ohio St. Kiffin was OC in '15 with Jake Coker & won it tho.

It's not like Kiffen cant call plays. he did it for 3 winning years at Alabama

Agree. He?s not a Corral arm talent, but he is more than average and likes to run. He?d plug in easily to the OM scheme if it at all resembles this past year.

I apologize if my post led you to believe that I was implying that. I agree that he?s not Corral type arm talent, BUT very few are. I just think that he?s the type of QB that Kiffin seems to do well with. Wasn?t Nix a 4 or 5 star?

Often. 2017, 2020, 2022.

I'm not sure what happened, but the sec schedule got screwed up somewhere. 2020 and Covid was supposed to not count on the rotation. The six East opponents should rotate every year.

2014 Vandy
2015 Mizzou
2016 usce
2017 Georgia
2018 Florida
2019 TN
2020
2021 Vandy
2022 should be Mizzou but it's Georgia

I do remember that. UK lost the game because that dude started strutting before scoring and got sniped from behind. I don?t remember the 2017 game. I didn?t realize that they played so much the past few years.

I'm not sure that Nix would go somewhere that he would have to face Auburn. I could be wrong. But that's my two cents.

Kentucky is a big time swing game for both MSU and Ole Miss next year. It always seems like Ole Miss finds a way to beat them in overtime or on the last play. And as noted we've struggled in Lexington. I think we have a good chance of beating them next year though.

Well when you have all 4 and 5 stars playing around you vs what ole miss had makes a big difference. So much talent everywhere on their offense a 2* QB look good.

Yes and No. Having tremendous talent helps except when facing as good of talent. Then QB is either an asset or liability. Look at the talent on UGA and how much of a disadvantage they were with Bennett at QB vs Bama. While OM won?t ever be Bama level talent, I do believe that if Kiffin can pull in an underperforming talented QB from the Portal, especially a dual threat guy, that he can have him more than competent to take the reigns of his offensive scheme. Add that to their schedule and while it won?t be NY6, they won?t be terrible.

So is there any pattern to who our non-KY East opponent is every year? Or is it just completely random?

Why would we have uga in 2017 and again in 2022?

There is a random pattern based on who has played who and where set by the SEC office. I think they try to space it out six years if they can.
