It looks like a solid class and we filled some needs. What made it exciting was rising instead of falling on signing day. I'm not used to that. Overall, it was a solid class for us, but still below average for the SEC. I wish we had a couple more 4 stars or a 5 star though.

This is one of the best crootin days I can remember in a long time. Probably the best class of all the classes currently on the team. Real glad to see Leach and croot. If we can be at 15-20 a few years in a row, I like it.

It is funny that when you actually add on instead of lose on signing day, it feels a lot better, even if you end up with a similar ranked class as you usually do. I'll take it though. We are holding par with being able to compete with most of the league.

While I am pleased with the holes filled, I am shocked at where we place in comparison to other SEC schools. I know Rivals has us higher than 247, but it kills me how every time that we seem to make a stride in recruiting, so does EVERYONE else in the SEC. It?s a mixed bag, being top 20 nationally, but lower half/third in the pond in which you swim.

4. I heard on Thunder and Lightning that if we get Banks and a few others this class will be great. There should be a disclaimer. It will be great by our standards. Alabama, Georgia, A&M fans would look at us saying this is "Great" and laugh their ass off.

Ain't a dick hair's difference between us besides 3 or 4 SEC teams. We are in the upper crust of the 2nd tier.

KY has a 5 star tackle committed, not signed, that's really helping lift their class. If you look at the average ranking, they are 88.69 and we are 87.51. At that point, it comes down to QB play in my opinion.

I think a solid 7. Rivals and 247 have us top 20. How many times do we do that?! If we get a portal tackle, CB, kicker, and safety, I will be 9+ for OUR wooliness. I just can't compare what we do to the Bamas of the world. If we keep putting classes like this together, we should be competitive with good development. Because we are a developmental program, we need to stack classes to avoid seasonal gaps, since we only may get 2 good years out of most of our guys because they need time to develop.

Leach would probably tell you to sign papers in Dec and we will keep it quiet for you until Feb for your announcement after you have fun. But if you don't sign, might as well look elsewhere. But I guess in your scenario you wouldn't commit to anybody in the first place. But you better be good if you want the big boys still coming after you come Feb.

The SEC is just going to continue to get stronger and stronger with this recruiting and adding Texas and OU. Texas and Texas A&M seem to always have top recruiting classes though and it never works out for them. Texas A&M 2020 team was probably the best team between the two in the last 10 years. Baylor has actually been the best football program in Texas overall since 2013

I can see that. It?s why I prefaced it with if I were a 4 or 5 ⭐️. Perhaps it?s more accurate to say high 4 or 5, but you are correct, if I were a low 4 or lower, I?d probably be more motivated to secure a spot. Still, I don?t blame anyone for enjoying their recruitment.

I can see UK, although from looking at their recent games, OM seems to find a way. I?m less confident that they lose to GT. I see 5-1 at worst after 6 games depending on who they get from the portal at QB specifically.
