It saddens me so many don't realize how lucky they are having functional wiring between the ears. We see visual physical differences but assume we've got the same survival and compatibility instincts. We all had a family member suffer but we still don't wanna address it like cancer and others ailments.

This is so true. You also have family members/friends who will shame you if you admit to having mental health issues. No one wants to reach out when things are off the rails and when they are the last thing you want to hear is someone making you feel bad for asking for help. People in the South still want to shame people for what they perceive as a weakness and unfortunately they don't realize the severity of the issue until it's too late.
