Dellenger has a tweet out saying nothing is finalized. Oregon still has a shot at keeping Cristobal. There is another tweet out saying there may be some cold feet with Cristobal.

And Manny just waits.

Does Manny have grounds for lawsuit the way the administration has handled this?
I actually hate it for Manny.

Barry Jackson:

Diaz and staff out recruiting like nothing is going on. Miami will not fire Diaz until Cristobal signs the contract.

He's not risking anything. He wants that full buy out

Cristobal has to noon Monday to accept Miami?s offer. If not Diaz will be retained.

Remember when Manny did this to Temple? He took their job for 2 weeks then left for Miami. Karma?

Me too. Manny seems like a pretty good guy and hasn't been done right by Miami.

If Cristobal doesn't bite, even though Lane signed his contract with OM, it's not out of the realm to think he might do the same thing....

Miami gonna pay that buyout? What is lane's buyout now?

The best coach in the pac 12 is Whittingham by far. He ran circles around Cristobal twice with a huge talent deficit. I really can?t believe he has stayed at Utah this long

I think he likes being home. Played for BYU and has been in Utah ever since, I believe.

What they are doing to Manny right now is criminal.

Cristobal, even with it being his alma mater, wanting to work for them in an HC capacity when they are willing to openly do what they are doing doesn't make sense.

But again. Welcome to the new college football.

The hell you would. Nobody is resigning leaving millions on the table. Manny's agent is negotiating with Miami right now on his buyout

Cristobal played at Miami
Miami will pay Cristobal millions
Cristobal's Mom lives in Fla
Florida has the best Governor in the country while Oregon's is trash
Florida has no state payroll tax
Miami is a blue blood
The right guy will have Miami back in the Top 10

Yeah I believe Miami's screwing with Manny to try to get him to resign so they won't have to pay his buyout. It's a crappy way to do things on their part and yeah if I'm manny they gonna have to make me leave and pay me my buyout.

Miami is taken another chance, looking at Cristobal's coaching past, had no idea he had been fired at one his HC'ing jobs. Not that being fired is all bad, but he wasn't all that impressive in a very weak and bad Pac 12. Miami will win but not blue blood level. They have a screwed-up administration situation, but if he gets a raise and going home, so be it and good for him.

No. Oregon is better in today's day and age. In the 90s, Miami was better. Since then, Oregon has been the better overall program.
Plus their school and facilities is much much much better.

Cristobal told the team about an hour ago he's Miami bound.

Bilotti told Oregon he will interim coach ala Stoops at OK if they want him to.

I've always hated Miami ... I eased up a bit when Mark Richt was there ... now they are back to being my #1 hated team, so it's not all bad.

Cristobal is a very average coach and a great recruiter. He will get big time talent but when he goes up against a senior veteran ACC team with a better coach he will lose big like the Utah games. He will be 8-4 most years
