Interesting matchup because of Leach. Good location and time. Poor venue

I agree, but I remember 2 years ago it was rumored that we would be going some where to guage interest im guessing and we ended up in the Music City.

It had all but been announced that we were going to Charlotte to play VT, Kentucky was going to the Gator to play Indiana, and Tennessee was going to the MCB to play Louisville. Our's and VT logos were even up on the Belk Bowl site for a minute or two. Well, Tennessee cried to the SEC that they didn't want the MCB or Louisville, but they wanted Indiana and the Gator. Of course, the SEC gave in to them. So, a change could happen, but I doubt it this year.

So even with Georgia and Bama being in the ship it won’t change?

Nope, that just puts UNM in the sugar.

I understand that, but wouldn’t that then put the next team into the Peach?

Has any more ? inside? information than anyone else like most of our fans who posts things on Twitter however listening to the talking heads they seem to have shifted away from the Texas Bowl to the Liberty Bowl? Like others have said all week things can change by the minute?

The opponent matters more to me than the destination. Texas Tech should be an interesting game.

Only 3 SEC slots available in the NY6. We're headed to Memphis because LSU got bowl eligible.

CBS just projected us to the Texas bowl against Kansas State

No, the Peach isn't guaranteed an SEC team like the Sugar is.

I saw one place predicting the Liberty vs West Virginia. Who knows. I think Texas Tech would be super interesting though.

That guy knows nothing. Brett McMurphy has the inside scoop. He had us in the Texas all week and changed to Liberty on Thursday.

Let?s go to Texas Bowl, please!
Indoors would be great regardless of it being on Jan 4th.

If TT i's an interesting story line for obvious reasons but a boring matchup, in my opinion

Nope. Not another sec team ranked high enough in the playoff poll. If KY or Aggie or ark were in top 12 then yes Bc we'd have 4 sec teams in NY6.

Yeah, if we go to Memphis it's liable to be 35 and raining.

I want the Music City just because of location and date. I won't be able to go to Texas and I rather not go to Memphis.

Meh I?ve been to both multiple times the past few years. Memphis has better food, live music, and is cheaper for it imo. If you?re not scared of getting robbed I guess lol

Memphis was more fun than Nashville maybe 25 years ago. Since then Nashville has left Memphis behind by 40 years.

Oh man....no. Nashville is about 600,000,000 times better for a weekend visit than Memphis.

Gus?s World Famous Fried Chicken is absolutely fantastic, too. Might I suggest double mac and cheese as your sides.

I'm happy with the Liberty Bowl. Stadium sucks but its a shorter drive than the other options.
