So what really happened between Cohen, Keenum, JoMo, and Nappier. Some in the know, let us have it.

We wanted Napier more than he wanted to be here. If he had taken our job he would be leaving right now which is not ideal for us.

Billy is a Saban clone and was making outrageous demands at the end after verbal agreements were made. Things went south and both sides moved along.

Doubt if he was interested in the State job under any circumstances....was reported that he also spurned South Carolina and Auburn as well.

We never offered the job. Wasn't much to any of it.

**** Billy Napier!! He?s Mullenz 2.0. GA will continue to dominate FL, bc the defensive game plan will never change. It will come down to talent, and Georgia will always recruit better due to Kirby.

As arrogant as he's been about doing a decent job at a freaking Sun Belt school, I'm finding it very hard to root for him to be successful. It feels like he needs a slice of humble pie.

This guy likely won't be the replacement to Mullen that Florida fans are hoping for either. Napier has a face that screams punch me.

I think you're right. I never wanted him at MSU and never understood why so many did.

He does have that kind of face doesn't he! He'll be let go in 3-4 years

I'll be absolutely shocked if Napier makes it 4 years and Scott will be getting the boot as well.

For all the 'Napier fans,' guess we'll see exactly 'how good' he really is!

We already know how 'fickle' gator fans can be!

He better be 'Saban like' from the start!!

One thing is for certain the kids in Florida have no idea whom he is. They better hope he brings in a stellar recruiter with him.

It’s an odd hire by Florida. First real P5 gig I guess they are banking on hiring a diamond in the rough. Seems a weird gamble for a program like Florida.
