Always a sad day.

I think I'd like a bowl matchup with FSU. It'll be a game we can win, and it's a storied program

I honesty believe Florida will play better and with more fire than they have with Mullen the last several games. I really think they will beat FSU

Fulfilling my duty as a Georgian and watching Clean Old Fashioned Hate. GT is an embarrassment to this State. They are not only a bad program, but they have let UGA fans completely takeover their stadium. It is a sea of red and black. No matter how bad OM or State may be, neither school ever lets that happen. Bobby Dodd is rolling over in his grave.

I started an OSU/UMich thread but I'll delete it and make my comment here:

If State had lost to UNM ten straight years I'd straight give up on our football program. At least we're back and forth over the modern years.

I was just thinking today GA may be best coaching job in country. They own their in-state rival and their SEC rival they pretty much own. And they're in the East too. They also in a state where they own recruiting if they want to and it's loaded with talent.

If OM were #1 and we were a 38 point dog, I'd pass on going too

Greg Knox >>>> Mullen.

I know he won?t get a big job, but Knox performs very admirably in tough spots. When do you think a small school gives him a chance to do more?

Oh trust me, UM fans are not happy with how Jim has lost so many to Ohio State. And we all think Leach is bad with rivalry games. Jim is up there as well. I really hope this is the year we can beat the buckeyes

Duke beating Miami 10-3. The Miami special teams just gave up 94 yard kick return for a touchdown.

Diaz on life support. Cutcliff has the cord in his hand.

LOL ... I was really just trolling 7. Mullen is his boy.

Hadn't really thought about it much. I think he's been a pretty decent RB coach over the years. He might could be a decent Sam Pittman type coach if given a shot.

Played backyard football a lot in the snow growing up. It's fun for about an hour, and then you are just wet. Oddly, my first high school baseball game was played in the snow. That was a terrible experience. My hands stung for hours from catching a fastball down on the hands, my feet were frozen, and we lost.

I don't think a 7 win SEC team would be matched with a 6 win ACC team ever, but especially this year.

If I had told you in 2016 that FSU would go the next 5 years without having a regular season over .500 you probably would have had my mental health checked. They are so bad they are getting run by a team coached by Greg Knox and a bunch of grad assistants.

Yeah, FSU is just sad these days

Michigan St/Penn St is reminiscent of the Shreveport Snow Bowl. The field is almost covered now, early in the game.

I think the committee has been prepping for a 2 loss Bama to be in the playoffs. I say it's
GA
MI
CIN
BAMA

Maybe ND because we know they love to put the Irish in.

Has that ever happened? A team in playoffs that didn't win conference while the winner missed out?

Yeah, Ohio State in 2016 went ahead of Penn State despite losing to Penn State and not even winning their division. Penn State did and even then won the Big 10 title game. But OSU went because they had 1 loss to PSU's 2. That's how much the CFP doesn't want to put a 2-loss team in, and they never have.

Yep, you right. Forgot that one. Little different though since Ohio st didn't actually lose the conf championship game

Yeah, it's even worse, they didn't even play for it.

UGA would 100% still be in, and I would be surprised if Bama made it. Look at Bama's resume right now:
Best win - Ole Miss
2nd best win - Arkansas by 7
3rd best win - probably us

Then lost to A&M, beat Florida by 2, beat LSU by 6, doing this against Auburn. Just not a great team.

Luckily, UGA will destroy them and none of it will matter.
