Would we welcome him back if he doesn't make it in pro baseball? Looks like he struggled mightily this year.

He was a rookie that didn't get an entire season, so he will get at least another 2 years to figure things out. Plus, he can't quit or he risks losing his signing bonus, as their are stipulations on them.

That being said, depending on how Staley, Fitzgerald, and whoever else we recruit at QB, develop, I think we should absolutely welcome him back if he is our best QB option.

Cord didn't do anything wrong to us. Hopefully, he does well in baseball, or we are recruiting better QBs than him in 2 years.

Heck yes we should. Worked out for Chris Weinke, Brandon Weeden and others. Who was the guy at Michigan? Either way, yes, we should.

Drew Henson, who was the starter at Michigan over Tom Brady

Not only would we welcome him back, but he would need our permission to play anywhere else. He signed with us if I'm not mistaken.

Probably thinking about Russell Wilson who transferred and played one year at Wisconsin....that was after baseball and a stint at UNC, I think....

Josh Booty played pro baseball for 5 years before going to play QB at lsu. So sandberg could come back in the future. Of course Booty never gave State the time of day even though he was born in Starkville and his Dad played football at State. He wasn't very good in either sport.

Mullen was the reason we didn't recruit a legit QB last year. Not Sandberg

Of course. Never hold a grudge against someone that can help you.
