Rogers has teamed up with Make-A-Wish Mississippi to bring smiles to the faces of one Mississippi family. As part of a name, image and likeness deal between Rogers and Strange Brew-Midtown, one Mississippi youngster has been selected to spend some quality time with the record breaking quarterback.
Earlier today, Rogers met the Make-A-Wish Mississippi recipient in Starkville for lunch. Later this week, that youngster and family will attend Mississippi State's home game against Tennessee State. Rogers hopes to be a friend and lend his support to a Mississippi family dealing with some very challenging circumstances.
While many NIL deals are simply advertising and marketing opportunities for players and businesses, Rogers wanted to use the Make-A-Wish foundation to do something special for a Mississippi family. As a product of Brandon, Mississippi, Rogers understands the challenges that many young people face. Rather than simply make a social media posting, the sophomore signal caller chose to be more involved.
