Welp, TTU got off relatively light - a public reprimand and suspension of the announcers for one game. Had that been the SEC and MSU, we would probably have had to forfeit the game, fined a huge amount of $$$, and announcers banished for the rest of the season if not the whole following season.

Had it been Bama, UF,UGA, or LSU, on the other hand, the SEC office would have just laughed it off as off the cuff remarks hastily spoken in the heat of the game. No harm, no foul, right?

Of course... that's all a "given"...

It's pretty pathetic you can't even question things at this point or you'll be suspended.

I am glad TT still won the game on a boss field goal.

I get that it's bad to have people affiliated with schools question teh integrity of the refs and the conference, but conferences wouldn't get that nearly as much if it wasn't clear that they didn't view good officiating as important.
