Before he was a Golden Eagle, Bobby Collins was a Mississippi State quarterback, defensive back, punter and leader. Then, he was an assistant coach for his alma mater. Until his dying day, which was yesterday, He often joked that he was really good at carrying Jackie Parker's luggage. He loved State, although it sometime didn't seem like it when he coached against the Bulldogs and, far more often than not, won. He was a helluva coach and a helluva guy. Here are my memories...
