Three redshirts that are going to be outstanding. Antonio Harmon 6-4 205 nfl size, Teddy Knox playmaker, Jacobi Moore 6-2 200

The depth at talent at receiver when you add in Hopson, Dortch is impressive.

Add those five to everybody returning.

Everybody returning? Highly unlikely

I figure Polk may go to the draft. Heath probably leaves. I heard someone say Calvin may leave but isnt he just a sophomore?

And there may be a some who transfer out as well.

Calvin? A sophomore? I saw an article that said he had 3 years remaining when he came to State but that doesn't make sense to me.

He played in 2017 and 2018 and then redshirted 2019 due to injuries. Then 2020 was a Covid year that didn't count so he should still have one year left after this year, not two like the article claimed.

I guess He could apply for a medical redshirt for the 2019 season if he wanted to redshirt a different year but that still limits him to playing one more year.

Ah I see. So with covid he may only have 1 more year and may be ready to just move on.

I think Polk probably comes back. Don't think he quite has the all-around measurables needed to go in the first or second round regardless of whether it's this year or next, but I think another year like this one on his resume could put him squarely in the middle rounds.

I think there's a decent chance Calvin comes back too. I think it might hurt his resume that he didn't step in and make an immediate and consistent impact despite having by far the most experience of anyone on our roster in this offense, and he could make up that ground and more with a big year next year.

I wouldn't expect Calvin or Heath back.

Would Austin Williams come back?

He has 1 more year of eligibility because covid year didnt count

All the ones leaving aside. We still have good talent at wide receiver. More than I have seen collectively in maybe my life as a state fan.

Heath - what is he leaving for? There is no way he gets drafted right now, free agent maybe. He better have a killer pro day.
Calvin - why would he not come back? same reasons as Heath.
Polk - made some noise. but again his measurables and only one good year. I think one more year makes a huge difference for him.
Williams - if he comes back that is huge for moral. but again maybe a free agent, practice squad.

all the above outside of the pros do they have some crazy good jobs lined up that you cannot pass up? or are any of them in a Josh Robinson scenario where they need the money fast?

Edit: have they all graduated and just want out of football?

Does anyone think that any of our redshirted folks starting next year?

Christian Ford has at least 1 more season maybe two - so add him to the returners list

Yeah but it takes times for wr to really get our offense down. Don't expect them to produce in the beginning. They have to really get the routes down or it messes everyone's routes up

Some guys just want to get the hell out of college. Go FA and make a practice squad. Go to Canada. Get paid to play is their goal and if not- move on to something else. Some people want to get out of Sville.

Until Polk finishes the season and gets some draft feedback- I still say 50/50
